Black Squirrel on Ornate Gray Sugar Bowl

Description

This beautifully designed sugar bowl has a perky little black squirrel holding a raw Lake County Diamond in its paws on a soft gray base with bronze trim.  This slotted artwork measures approx.  4 3/4″ tall x 4 1/4″ wide Holds approx. 1 cup.  It’s perfect as a jam server, too.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown.  The lid is hand formed with a tiny curly tailed black squirrel holding a raw Lake County Diamond. This piece is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. HAND WASHING IS RECOMMENDED.  The glazes on our pieces are a soft celedon and simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
