A little gray kitten sits in the middle of red roses with raw Lake County Diamond centers. Glazed in our specialty Wild Blue Fire, this piece of art is a beautiful jar perfect for sugar, or other treasures. Scrolled designs along the base add to the intrigue of this unique artwork. This piece measures approx. 6″ tall (to the top of the kitten’s ears) x 4 1/2″ wide and holds approx. 2 1/2 cups.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed. This piece was hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece is always one of a kind, and priceless.
