On a soft green water glazed bowl, a native grizzly bear prowls two mountain ranges in search of berries late in the fall under the watchful eye of a black crow. Measuring 7 3/4″ wide x 4″ tall, this bowl makes a charming centerpiece, but remains a functional piece you’ll be proud to use daily, also.
This artwork holds a large 7 cups and is part of our native Northern California mountain series glazed in rich coppers, black and iridescent greens.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, wheel thrown, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
