Topped with a smokey crystal knob, this large antique turquoise cookie jar has multiple layers of rich, lustrous glazes making this unique piece a beautiful accent for your home. This canister measures approx. 8 1/2″ tall (to the top of the knob) x 7 1/4″ wide and holds approx. 10 cups – or a large batch of cookies.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed. This piece was hand glazed with food safe glazes, in our specialty Wild Earth collection. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark. *** PLEASE HAND WASH ONLY***
