Brown Green Forest Canister with Graceful Leaf Impression and Scroll Handle

Description

This beautifully rustic lidded treasure measures approx. 6″ wide x 6″ tall from bottom to handle on the lid. Holds approx. 2 1/2 cups or 650 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.  The lid has a graceful leaf impression and the scroll handle elegantly tops this piece.  Great as a sugar bowl, small personal size casserole, and so much more!

-Created from local Northern California clay that I personally dug, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. This intriguing piece has such an amazing combination of glazes, hand applied with layers that will take you back to hikes with forest floors under foot.

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted an no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
