Description
Hand sculpted chili pepper knobs in red, yellow and orange chili peppers top this set of three OOAK stoneware canisters glazed in our Rustic Southwest Desert combination. Part of our Northern California series, this lovely set has plenty of room for your treats and treasures.
The canisters measure from the bottom to the top of the three chili handles approximately:
Large cookie jar size canister ~ 8 1/2″ tall x 6 1/4″ wide. Holds approx. 7 cups.
Medium Jar size canister ~7″ tall x 4 1/4″ wide. Holds approx. 2 2/3 cups.
Smaller sugar jar size canister ~ 5 1/2″ tall x 4 1/4″ wide. Holds approx. 2 cups.
-Created from sandy Northern California clay, the base are wheel thrown. The lids are each hand formed and sculpted. The pieces were then hand glazed with food safe glazes. The glazes and designs on our pieces are simply captivating!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark. **Please hand wash for a longer, brighter product.
-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your pieces are always one of a kind, and priceless.
