This exquisite mint green canister, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this artwork can never be matched.
Description
This beautifully ornate and unique canister measures approx. 4 1/2″ wide x 6″ tall from bottom to top of the little white chicken’s tail feathers. It holds approx. 2 1/4 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. Hand crafted, this jar is amazing with its combinations of glazes and styling that include a vine rimmed base, and a gorgeous lid with a hand sculpted little hen.
The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning! ~ Food safe, dishwasher and oven safe, too!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
