This exquisite piece, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this piece can never be matched.
Description
This gorgeously deep red stoneware statement bowl makes the perfect decorative centerpiece. This piece measures 5″ tall by 10″ wide. Glazed in our special and unique elemental “Wild Red Fire” combinations, this piece is highlighted with iridescence. There is a double ring of leaves and vines surrounding the base, adding extra texture and beauty. This bowl holds approx. 13 cups.
-Created from sandy Northern California clay, wheel thrown, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply fresh and stunning. Hand washing is recommended.
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
