Blue Lotus Flower Jar with Crystal Knob

Description

A faceted crystal knob catches light and rises from a hand sculpted blue lotus floating gently on a deep blue green pond of glazes.  This uniquely beautiful sugar jar measures approx. 4 1/2″ wide x 5 1/2″ tall from bottom to the top of the crystalline knob on the lid.  This artwork holds approx. 1 2/3 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.

Created from white sandy Northern California clay. The base is wheel thrown, and included an engraving along the bottom.  The lid is detailed and hand formed.   The glazes are food safe, oven safe, richly unique, and loaded with flowing details!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom is unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
