This pine forest garlic keeper with its hand sculpted squirrel knob and tree base is glazed in iridescent green with beautiful highlights. It will keep your garlic nicely and can be used for other treasures, too ~ even beautiful as a luminary when the lid is off.
This exquisite garlic jar, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery.

*** Please note that this piece is discounted 25%, as the lid is slightly smaller than we’d like and it fits loosely, but still works nicely.***
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown, then carved and engraved with pine trees. The lid is hand formed, circled with bright green pine boughs, then topped with a hand sculpted metallic glaze squirrel. Then, this piece was hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
