This artistic piece, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.
Description
An autumn oak forest glazed with Soft Green Rain glazes grace this lovely pitcher. This piece measures approx. 4″ wide x 6 3/4″ tall while holding approx. 4 cups. Lovely as a vase or a beautiful accent piece.
Hand built, hardy and durable, and created from a slab of Northern Californian sandy white stoneware clay, this pitcher has a sprinkling of colorful oak and maple leaves and a few acorns. The base is inscribed with a vine and leaf design.
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted an no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
