A beautifully unique napkin holder, this piece features a dog howling at the full moon under pine branches. Hand formed and hand glazed with a similar on each side and a detailed pine bough impression around the rim.
This exquisite set, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only “set” in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.
Description
A beautifully unique napkin holder, this piece features a dog howling at the full moon under pine branches. Hand formed and hand glazed with a similar on each side and a detailed pine bough impression around the rim. We use ours for file holders in the office, too 🙂 This piece measures approx. 6″ long x 4 1/2″ tall with approx. a 1″ opening for napkins, tacos or files.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
