Murder of Crow Jar with Lake County Diamond Crow Eyes

A stunning OOAK piece, this murder of crow jar glazed in midnight stormy blue measures 4 1/2″ wide x 6″ tall from bottom to crow’s head on lid. It holds 2 1/2 cup or 600 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.

The crow’s eyes and the tops of the stylized trees are embellished with Lake County Diamonds ~ a distinctive addition of industrial diamonds our local county is well known for.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
