Red Chili Lidded Canister in Ornate Spanish Lace Black

Description

A single red chili pepper centers on this ornate lidded art canister in ornate Spanish lace black.  This jar measures approx. 5 1/2″ wide x 6″ tall from bottom to handle on the lid. Holds approx. 4 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown with a scrolled impression along the bottom.  The lid is hand formed with a square Spanish lace impression and a red hot chili pepper.  *The lid was created specifically for this slightly off round work and fits perfectly in two positions.  Pricing has been adjusted accordingly.  This artwork is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
