Description
This beautiful smokey blue sugar jar topped with a sculpted brown tree squirrel measures approx. 3 1/2″ wide x 6 1/2″ tall from bottom to the squirrel’s ears on the lid. Holds approx. 1 1/4 cup to the inside rim beneath the lid.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and embellished with a lovely rope design around the base. The lid is hand formed with a sculpted brown tree squirrel knob, then all is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
