Soft Green Water Black Bear Sugar Jar

Description

A black bear saunters along on a leafy forest floor on this gorgeously ornate sugar jar that has been glazed in our specialty “Soft Green Water” combination of glazes. This uniquely beautiful sugar canister measures approx. 4″ wide x 4 3/4″ tall from bottom to the top of the looped handle on the lid.  This artwork holds approx. 2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.

Created from white sandy Northern California clay. The base is wheel thrown, and included an engraving along the bottom.  The lid is detailed and hand formed.   The glazes are food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe, richly unique, and loaded with flowing details!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom is unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece is always one of a kind, and priceless.
