Description
An aged golden bronze bird watches from her perch above a the Wild Earth glazed canister. This sugar jar measures approx. 4 3/4″ wide x 5 3/4″ tall from bottom to the top of the bird’s head and tail on the lid. It holds approx. 2 2/3 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay. The base is wheel thrown, and included a vine and leaf engraving along the bottom. The lid is hand formed.. Everything is glazed in our specialty Wild Earth combination of rustic iron and reminiscence of rain in thunder storms. The glazes are food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe, richly unique, and loaded with details!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom is unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
