Loved and Vintage Tools

Thought it would be great to share a  sneak view into the studio, these shots are of some loved and vintage tools that are used in making some of Wild Crow Farm's Pottery. The older brushes belonged to my late grandma, so have special meaning when used.  The raku bowl has been with me for ages, and holds water when pottery is wheel thrown.  The trimming and shaping tools sit in a vintage brown glass loaf pan, ready to add form and texture. The mixture of the old treasured tools and the newer ones is a centering experience in bringing new life and beauty into simple balls of earth.
