Description
A design from our Native Northern California series, a large black bear is centered on this amazingly beautiful baking dish with pine branches and an engraved exterior. Glazed in our watercolor sky blue, intriguing highlights complete the original look of this forest inspired piece. This stoneware pottery pie plate measures approx. 7 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ tall. We love this size, as its a bit smaller – perfect for biscuits, pies, brownies, and cobblers.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom of this piece is glazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted an no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
