This is an eye catching one of a kind piece. Exquisite, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, it is not production pottery and is the only one in existence, due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this piece can never be matched.

Description
A rich smokey blue, the glazes on this canister flow like the early morning mists. Topped with an orange spiral flower and green leaves, this beautiful piece measures approx. 5 1/2″ wide x 5 1/4″ tall from bottom to knob on lid. It holds approx. 2 1/2 cups or 600 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed, then glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are simply gorgeous!
Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. Bottom is unglazed and signed by us.
Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted (not from a mold). Enjoy the variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes.
