An ancient oak tree (one for each side) stands in a crescent moon with raised moon phases on this uniquely rich ceramic coffee mug. Moon phases decorate the handle and an oak tree sits in the interior base for that extra special touch. This piece holds 21 oz. Hand built with a nice hefty weight, this OOAK art is a pleasure to hold.
-Crafted in a limited small batch of just two mugs and sold individually, if more than one is available, they’ll look terrific together.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, individually hand formed (not wheel thrown – to enhance the rustic look), then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
