Black Bear with Berries Covered Butter Dish

Description

Black bear wander happily over a meadow of red berries between around this domed butter dish glazed in a soft cream with a crystal knob lid.  It is wonderfully loaded with hand glazed details including  large black bear and more berries on the plate.  This work of art features lots of room for your butter or cheeses. This lidded piece is loaded with details and measures 4″ tall to the top of the knob, and 6″ around.

*There is the smallest variant between the dish and the lid causing the lid to rock ever so slightly due to depth of glazes.  Price has been reduced to reflect this.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe glazes. Please hand wash only.  Not for the oven, microwave or dishwasher.  The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
