Large enough to hold your coffee beans, cookies,  or sugar, this beautiful piece holds 3 cups or 750 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.

This exquisite hummingbird canister, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.

Description

Coming midnight means the last fill for hungry blue green hummingbirds on this darkly midnight blue canister.  The black knob features a red flower with a green leaf.

Large enough to hold your coffee beans, cookies,  or sugar, this beautiful piece measures approx. 5 1/4″ wide x 5 3/4″ tall from bottom to knob the on lid. Holds 3 cups or 750 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
