Glazed in eggplant purple, a tiny nest with three eggs sits atop this uniquely ornate sugar bowl. It measures approx. 3 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ tall from bottom to the top of the eggs on the lid. Holds approx. 1 1/4 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. This piece works well as a honey pot or salsa server, too! There is a utensil slot in the lid.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown.. The lid is hand formed with an ornate pattern and a hand sculpted nest with three white eggs. Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
