Amazing glazes cover this large and very unique utensil keeper that is glazed in our specialty elemental line of “Wild Red Fire”. This canister measures approx. 5 3/4″ tall x 7″ wide. It holds approx. 9 cups – LOADS of utensils with even enough room for a rolling pin. The glazes, iridescent and gorgeous, make this statement piece of art a real treasure.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, this treasure is wheel thrown. This piece is glazed with food safe, and oven safe glazes.
Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
