Playful kittens surround and top this gorgeous deep teal coffee and sugar set of 2 canisters glazed in our specialty “Wild Blue Fire” glazes. These pieces have hand sculpted kittens on round black knobs. These jars and their captivating glazes and completely unique with their ornate design.
The canisters measure from the bottom to the top of the handle approximately:
Coffee canister ~ 7″ tall x 6″ wide Holds approx. 4 1/2 cups to seat of the lid
Sugar canister ~ 6″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide Holds approx. 2 cups to seat of the lid.
-Created from sandy Northern California clay, the base are wheel thrown. The lids are each hand formed and sculpted. The pieces were then hand glazed with food safe uniquely combined glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply captivating!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your pieces are always one of a kind, and priceless.
