Description
This little bird slotted sugar bowl glazed in crystalline snowflake blue with a leaf and vine base measures approx. 4″ wide x 5 1/2″ tall from bottom to the bird on the lid, and holds approx. 1 1/2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. This pretty piece is perfect for honey, salsa, and sugar.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning with gorgeous flowing snow blue crystalline, purple and iridescent mixtures. Then the hand formed blue bird knob and leaf bottom tops off the look!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
