This exquisite set, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only “set” in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.

Charmingly beautiful, and glazed in our specialty “Wild Blue Fire” glazes, these woodland owl canisters are pieces that you’ll want to pick up, hold and admire. Lovingly hand crafted, these jars are uniquely amazing with their hand sculpted owl and leaf knobs. The bases have unique leaf impressions to complete the look.
These gorgeous pieces measure from the bottom to the top knob approximately:
Large ~ 8 tall x 5″ wide Holds approx. 4 cups to seat of the lid
Medium ~ 7 1/2″ tall x 4 3/4″ wide Holds approx. 3 1/2 cups to seat of the lid
Sugar Jar ~ 5″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide Holds approx. 1 1/2 cups to seat of the lid
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
