Off to grandmother’s house we go! Black bear meander around a cabin knob on this very beautiful black bear cookie jar. It measures approx. 6″ wide x 8 1/2″ tall from bottom to top on wandering black bear lid with pine trees. It holds approx. 7 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. The base has a variety of pine trees engraved.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
