Little speckled red hens welcome the morning on both sides of this highly detailed, hand formed ceramic coffee mug. As of this listing, there is one extra large (21 oz.) singing chicken, one large (16 oz.) singing chicken, and one quiet (non singing) large (16 oz.) chicken mug available. This listing will be updated as the hens find their homes, but they’ll look great together, if you want more than one. Please let us know in notes at checkout what you’d like. The pieces have a wide comfortable handles with chicken heads on the signing chicken mugs, and dots on the quiet chicken mug. Each piece has a good hefty weight. There is a surprise chicken on the interior for that extra special touch. Yay chickens!!!
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
