This exquisite jar, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this artwork can never be matched.

Description
Ornate and gorgeous, this honey jar is glazed in our specialty “Ancient Brown” that features melting rustic browns with hints of black and rusts. The finial holds a raw Lake County Diamond. This jar measures approx. 3″ wide x 5″ tall from bottom to knob on lid. Holds approx. 1/2 – 3/4 cup to the inside rim beneath the lid. This piece was created to hold a smaller amount to keep products fresher.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and detailed with a scroll pattern around the bottom. The lid is hand formed with a gorgeous lacy pattern and a fluted finial with a swirled top encases a raw Lake County Diamond. Hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes.
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
