This is an eye catching one of a kind piece. Exquisite, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, it is not production pottery and is the only one in existence, due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this piece can never be matched.

Description

This exciting red canister measures 5″ wide x 6″ tall from bottom to knob on lid. It holds  2 1/2 cups or 600 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.

Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed, then glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. (Yes ~ This piece would make a very cute casserole, too!)

Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. Bottom is unglazed and signed by us with our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted an no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
