Rust red brown and stunning, this bean pot with handles has a rounded “belly” and works great as an open casserole.

This exquisite artwork, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.

Description

This beautiful bean pot/casserole measures approx. 6 3/4″ wide x 3 3/4″ tall. It holds approx. 5 1/2 cups.

From the volcanic mountains of Northern California, where the vineyards and fog meet the forests, this casserole was created from natural, local clay that I dug myself. This piece of stoneware is uniquely amazing with its combination of deep rust red and highlights of purples.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, this piece is individually hand formed, then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted an no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
