This beautiful jar, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this piece of art can never be matched.

Description
Glazed in one of our specialty glazes called Blue Forest Rain, this ornately designed sugar jar measures approx. 4 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ tall from bottom to sleeping kitten’s curled tail on lid. Holds approx. 1 1/2 cups or 350 ml. to the inside rim beneath the lid.
Great size – just perfect for storing just about everything from sugar to your favorite jams or honey.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown with a detailed pattern, and the lid is hand formed with an ornate pattern and a tiny striped tiger kitten sleeping in a ball with its tail curled over it. This piece was hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
