Nibbling their way through fallen acorns under oak trees, two black squirrels (one on each side) listen carefully to the surrounding world. The wide comfortable handle has two more little squirrel heads, and the interior has another tiny squirrel to complete the look and add that extra special touch. Hand formed, this 21 oz. piece has a nice hefty weight that will keep your cuppa warm longer.
Part of our Native Northern California Series, this mug was created in celebration of our local wildlife, mountains and coastal areas.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, individually hand formed (not wheel thrown – to enhance the rustic look), then hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
