Stunningly ornate in our specialty Wild Jade glazes, this slotted sugar bowl (that works great as a salsa server or honey pot) features a black fluted finial.
This exquisite sugar bowl, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this art can never be matched.

Description
Stunningly ornate in our specialty Wild Jade glazes, this slotted sugar bowl (that works great as a salsa server or honey pot) features a fluted finial. Completely unique, this piece measures approx. 4″ wide x 5″ tall from bottom to top of the knob. This piece holds approx. 1 1/2 cups.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay (some from my own farm), the base is wheel thrown. The beautifully intriguing lid is hand formed with an ornate design, a fluted blue finial with black knob, and a slotted utensil opening. This piece is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glaze has remarkable highlights along the rim for that extra special touch.
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
*Props are not included.*
