This exceptional little sugar bowl, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this artwork can never be matched.
Description
Glazed in a fresh aqua blue, this exceptionally sweet blue bird sugar bowl/honey pot measures approx. 4″ wide x 4″ tall from bottom to top of the blue bird’s tail on the lid. Holds approx. 1 cup ~ Perfect for your afternoon tea!
Created from white sandy Northern California clay (some from my own farm), the base is wheel thrown and impressed with a springtime vine and leaf detail surrounding the base. The beautifully styled lid is hand formed with lace impressions surrounding a hand sculpted blue bird sitting on her nest. Then, everything is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes.

The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
