A perky little brown dachshund stands on this uniquely beautiful jar. This piece or art is glazed in a soft rustic brown with iridescent bronze and green blue borders. It measures approx. 3 3/4″ wide x 6 1/4″ tall from bottom to the top of the dachshund’s head on the lid. Holds approx. 2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. This piece works well as a honey pot, treasure keeper, sugar bowl, or jam serving jar, too!
Created from white sandy Northern California clay. Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are rich and gorgeous, and loaded with details! There is a pretty vine and leaf detail around the base.
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom is unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
