Blue Bird of Happiness Jar with Ornate Lid in Snowflake Crystalline Glazes

Glazed in our specialty Blue Crystalline glaze, a hand sculpted handsome blue bird of happiness sits atop this magically ornate storage jar. This piece measures approx. 6″ tall (to the top of the blue bird’s head) x 4 1/4″ wide and holds approx. 2 1/2 cups.  This piece is perfect for storing your magical treasures, or treats.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed.  This piece was hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece is always one of a kind, and priceless.
