Canoeing With a Hawk Jar

A black hawk circles as it glides along with a canoe topped bronze stash jar that’s just loaded with color and details.  Perfect as a sugar jar, or treasure keeper, this OOAK piece of art has rustic beauty enhanced with hand applied features.

Measuring approx. 5 3/4″ tall (to the top of the knob) x 4 3/4″ wide, it holds approx. 2 cups.   A part of our native Northern California series, this piece celebrates our local mountains, traditions, creatures, and coast.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed.  This piece was hand glazed with food safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark. *** PLEASE HAND WASH ONLY***

-Our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece is always one of a kind, and priceless.
