This exquisite set, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only “set” in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.

Description

This detailed sugar and creamer set has bright chili peppers accenting the purple frost glazes. The creamer measures approx. 3 1/4″ tall. It holds approx. 1/2 cup. The sugar bowl features a slot for utensils and measures approx. 5″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide.  The sugar bowl holds approx. 1 1/2 cups.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is hand formed with red, orange and yellow chili peppers. This piece is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning, and the contrasts on this piece are lovely!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
