Glazed in a gorgeous jewel blue, a tiny curly tailed mouse with cheese sits atop this uniquely ornate sugar bowl. This piece measures approx. 4″ wide x 5″ tall from bottom to the top of the mouse’s ears on the lid. It holds approx. 1 1/4 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. This piece works well as a honey pot or salsa server, too!
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown.. The lid is hand formed with an ornate pattern and a hand sculpted mouse, proudly guarding the cheese. Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
