This exquisite canister, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only one in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this artwork can never be matched.
Description
Especially gorgeous, this amazing canister features our specialty glaze “Elemental Earth Red Fire” and has a raw Lake County Diamond added in the finial for that extra special touch of brilliance. This beautiful jar measures approx. 4 3/4″ wide x 7″ tall from bottom to the top of the finial’s loop on lid. Holds approx. 3 1/2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base was wheel thrown, and the ornate lid is hand crafted with a black fluted finial embedded with a raw Lake County Diamond. This piece was glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are simply gorgeous!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
