Olive Green Italian Kitchen Leaf Casserole, Canister

Description

Glazed in our Italian Kitchen olive green, this beautiful artwork with darker green leaves measures approx. 5 1/2″ wide x 6″ tall from bottom to the sculpted leaf knob on the lid. Holds approx. 3 1/2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. Makes a great artisan bread baker, too!

* This lid fits nicely, and tightly, but has to be added at an angle. The price has been adjusted accordingly.

Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown. The lid is hand formed with an amazing sculpted leaf for the knob and detailed leaf impressions surrounding the top. This piece is amazing with its hand glazing with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
