Forest Rain Blue Jar with Crow on Nest with Eggs

This beautiful petite jar features a crow sitting on her nest of three eggs.  It measures approx. 3 1/2″ wide x 4″ tall from bottom to the crow’s head on the lid. Holds approx. 1/2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown and the lid is individually hand formed with a sculpted crow sitting on her nest of eggs, then all is hand glazed with gorgeous rain water blues highlighted with purple.  It is food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
