Red Pagoda Centered in the Galaxy Jar

A decorative red pagoda is centered in the middle of our galaxy.  Stunning! This art jar is glazed in our specialty black galaxy glazes where you can see a million stars forming in the mist.  This treasure measures approx. 5″ wide x 6 1/2″ tall from bottom to the top of the pagoda’s spire. It holds approx. 3 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid. This piece works well as a treasure keeper, sugar bowl, or serving jar, too!

Created from white sandy Northern California clay. The base is wheel thrown with an engraved detail along the bottom.  The lid is hand formed with a red pagoda centered as the knob.  Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are gorgeous, and loaded with details!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottom is unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece is always one of a kind, and priceless.
