This exquisite set, like the other pottery available from WildCrowFarm, is not production pottery and the only “set” in existence due to the single firing schedule and variability of the hands of the artist and the unpredictability in high-fire pottery. Some of our pottery will be similar but this set can never be matched.
Description
Hand sculpted chili peppers in red, yellow and orange top this exclusively gorgeous canister set with ornately detailed lids. Glazed in our specialty rustic desert sunset, this canister set has an earthy elemental allure to its colors.
The taller jar measures approx. 4 1/4″ wide x 7″ tall from bottom to the top of the chili stack on the lid and holds approx. 4 1/2 cups.
The garlic keeper jar measures approx. 4 1/4″ wide x 5″ tall from the bottom to the top of the chili stack knob. It holds approx. 6-8 large head of garlic.
The slotted sugar bowl measures approx. 5″ tall x 3 3/4″ wide. It holds approx. 1 1/2 cups.
-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the bases are wheel thrown and the lids are individually hand formed with an ornately design each with a chili pepper stack knob. Hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
