Foggy Gray Morning Sugar Jar with Purple Rose and Trim

Description

A foggy gray surrounds this uniquely ornate artwork sugar bowl.  An eggplant purple rose knob with multiple layers of purple and glaze add that special touch to this piece.  Measuring approx. 3 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ tall from bottom to the top of the rose on the lid, a slotted utensil hole tops off the look.  This sugar jar holds approx. 1 cup to the inside rim beneath the lid.

Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown. The lid is hand formed with an ornate pattern, and has a hand sculpted rose with leaves. Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are simply gorgeous!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
