A tiny blue bird sits on her nest of three eggs on this beautiful sugar bowl all glazed in our specialty “Soft Green Water” glazes. This uniquely ornate artwork measures approx. 3 1/2″ wide x 5 1/2″ tall from bottom to the top of the blue bird’s head on the lid. Holds approx. 1 1/2 cup to the inside rim beneath the lid.
Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown. The lid is hand formed with an ornate pattern, a slotted utensil hole, and a hand sculpted blue bird sitting on her nest of three little eggs. Everything is glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on this piece are simply gorgeous!
-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.
