Soft Green Water Canister with Blue Bird on Nest of Eggs

This beautiful canister, in soft rainwater celedon glazes measures approx. 4 1/4″ wide x 6 1/4″ tall from bottom to the blue bird’s head on the lid. Holds approx. 2 1/2 cups to the inside rim beneath the lid.

-Created from white sandy Northern California clay, the base is wheel thrown with delicate scrolls surrounding the base in three layers.  The lid is individually hand formed with bright green leaves circling a blue bird sitting on her next of three eggs.  This piece is hand glazed with food safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe glazes. The glazes on our pieces are simply stunning!

-Stoneware fired to over 2200 degrees for durability and ease of use and cleaning. The bottoms are unglazed and feature our maker’s mark.

-Please note that all of our stoneware pottery is hand crafted and no molds are used in the creation of our vessels, so please expect variations in hand applied glaze techniques and shapes. This ensures that your piece(s) are always one of a kind, and priceless.
